Rosborough Insurance Agency was started in 1989 by George (Bill) Rosborough as an agency that specialized in selling federal crop insurance policies. George (Bill) Rosborough had used crop insurance on his own farm and thought it was a product that neighboring farmers should also be using since the weather in Southeastern Illinois could be quite variable. As the crop insurance industry has continued to change, the Agency has changed with it and writes policies both federally underwritten and privately underwritten. Bill's son, Jon Rosborough, has joined the firm and brings 12 years of insurance sales experience. Jon, who is also a CPA, works diligently at maintaining all of the record-keeping required.
